Backstop and Security for Investors
Deploying majority of the fund as Dequity provides AGILA with access to each project and/or transaction’s collateral and liens while capturing equity upside through cash flow disbursements and exits. This structure effectively hedges pure equity deployments against debt investments, balancing risk and return.
Additionally, AGILA will leverage its anchor investor’s investment to backstop LP investments deployed as debt, significantly reducing downside risk. By combining secured debt positions with equity participation, this approach enhances capital preservation while maximizing returns.
